Sol-U-Mel from Melaluca is very very good for that. Also.
Also keep useing the polish remover, and an old tooth brush if you have it. Do it every 10 min. and it should come out.
Also some Shout will work, it will just take a little longer. How do you get nail polish out of carpet?
Step1Test a small area of carpet to make sure the acetone won't melt it. (you can find 100% pure acetone at a beauty supply store, its basically strong nail polish remover)
Step2Once you're sure it won't ruin your carpet soak the stained area with the acetone.
Step3Put a towel over the area and press straight down on it as hard as you can. You can set something heavy on it for a few minutes if you want.
Step4Repeat steps 2 and 3 until stain is gone. It may take more than one bottle of acetone to remove depending on how dark the polish is and how much is on the carpet.
Step5After the polish is gone clean the area with soap and water to remove the acetone. Set a towel over the area with weight on top to force out the moisture.
Things You鈥檒l Need:
100% Acetone
Old towels or rags that you can throw out after
soap and water
Step1Spray the shaving cream on the stain
Step2Rub it into the carpet, using your finger tips.
Step3Rub dry with paper towel
I typed in the Search for questions box ';how to get nail polish out of carpet.'; There were 10 choices on that page with many more pages. Daughter spilled bright red; remover did the job with some work. Good luck
