My hands are naturally a little reddish (they aren't dry, it's just my circulation). What nail polish colors would make my hands and fingers look less red?
Also, what can I do to make my hands look less red? What colors of nail polish make hands look less red?

How can I take dark red nail polish off without it staining my fingers?
You know when you wipe it off with nail polish remover and it stains the sides of your fingers? Is there anyway to prevent this? How can I take dark red nail polish off without it staining my fingers?
you can try using clear nail polish before putting the colour on this will stop it staining your nails
How can I take dark red nail polish off without it staining my fingers?
Never wipe! Use a cotton swab or ear bud lightly soaked in remover and gently DAB it on the edge of your nails. Than use a dry tissue a dab your nail dry. Then rub on some vasaline or lotion on your nails or hands (but make sure you get the skin around your nails). Then use a cotton puff ball and soak it thoroughly in remover. The best removers have alot of acetone. Then repeat what you did above. Dab your nails and dry it with a tissue. If you have some more red leftover on your nails, you now have permission to wipe but without touchting your cuticles. Start at the base (above cuticles) and wipe up to the tips. You may repeat many times.
not really, I'm afraid.
but you can reduce the stains. for example by using cotton pads and letting the remover ';sink'; in the polish, or by soaking q-tips and start with removing the polish from the edges.
anyway, you will have to remove slight stains after you're done - I have to ;-)
Soak a cotten wool pad in remover then hold pad onto nail. Leave for 5 secs or so. Then wipe off. Tends to stain less if you don't do the scubbing thing. Let the remover sink into the polish. And be prepared to use a new pad every couple of nails. :)
yeah vaseline should work because it stops the acetone from the nail polish remover getting to your skin
but be careful not to get any vaseline on the nail polish because then the nail polish wouldn't come off
Yes, if you rub vaseline around the edges it will prevent it from going on your fingers :)
You could aslo try using that Bourjois 1 second nail varnish as it's brush is made so that it fits your nail x
take cotton wool and nail polish remover... and if it's still stained soak it in a bit of nail polish remover... in the future put on clear before putting on colours that can stain to prevent this...
use pink nail polish

What brand of nail polish is the most chip resistant?
I always manage to mess up my nails when I polish them. Is there a brand of nail polish that will dry fast and hard so they won't scrape or chip with daily wear? What brand of nail polish is the most chip resistant?
OPI is the best, it lasts long and doesn't chip for at least a week and it is shinyWhat brand of nail polish is the most chip resistant?
OPI is really good!
it also depends if you're using a base/top coat. for a base, i use orly's bonder %26amp; for a top coat i use seche vite dry fast top coat. out of all the base coat's and top coat's i've used, those two are the best by far :D
if you really like nail polish i suggest you invest money into things that work instead of buying what's cheap.
i don't know of a specific brand that works well, but if you paint a clear hardner over it, such as beauty secrets hardner, it will keep it from chipping
OPI brand works very well. And they have big bottles too, for only about 5 bucks!
to make it last extra long, paint some clear hardner polish to ive it strength and a boost of shine.
sally hanson is ok.
opi is really good but expensive!
any nail polish is fine if you use sally hanson clear to make it sparkley
do that 2 times it will last long!
the only nail polish that i've ever used that never managed to chip or scrape off as OPI, but they are super expensive.
here are some colors and stuff:

How do I get rid of nail polish stain on clothes?
my 3 year daughter spilled nail polish on her clothes but i cannot get rid of it. i washed it but it didn't go away.
does anyone know how to get rid of nail polish stain on clothes? How do I get rid of nail polish stain on clothes?
The base for nail polish is lacquer thinner.. Get some of that or some acetone or even nail polish remover, thats pretty much acetone. Keep working it till it dissolves.. It wont dissolve in water..How do I get rid of nail polish stain on clothes?
Nail polish remover works. Do it in layers though. Too much will ruin the clothes. Sometimes washing clothes just sets the stains in.

Can I take nail Polish remover on a plane?
It's a bottel of nail varnish remover, can i take it on the plane?
Thanks :)Can I take nail Polish remover on a plane?
No, the reason being that it is extremely flammable. Can I take nail Polish remover on a plane?
No, on a recent trip to the states, we had our hold luggage opened and lighters removed.
I've attached a list of prohibited articles published by BA, these prohibitions include items in the luggage hold, not just hand luggage.
http://www.britishairways.com/travel/bag鈥?/a>
No,nail polish remover is a dangerous good or hazardous material. There are notices posted at every ticket counter and gate area warning not to take dangerous goods on airplanes in checked or carry on baggage.
no liquids, gels or aerosols are allowed in your carry on luggage unless they are under a certain volume (I think it's three fluid ounces) and in a clear, quart sized, plastic zip lock bag..
You cant take bottles of anything on a plane but you can in your suitcase - you cant take it into the cabn with you
Use common sense and take remover pads instead and you will have no problem.
Yes, just so long as its not in hand luggage, will be okay
Nope not allowed...Its flammable
the answer is no they dont allow anything that could be a harmfull substance.

How to prevent nail polish from chipping?
My nail polish always comes off super fast. I've tried different brands, and I know to put a top coat and everything. It seems like when I do dishes and stuff like that it almost just washes off. How can I get it to stay on better? How to prevent nail polish from chipping?
OPI nail polish stays on very well. How long the nail polish stays on also depends on how well you painted your nails. if you did thick sloppy coats and they did not dry neatly, the nail polish will chip much easier. Be very careful and neat when painting your nails, and do t after the dishes. Make sure to trim your cuticles before painting your nails, this makes a hige difference chip-wise. Do fast, light, neat strokes. The best way: two thin coats of color, and a clear coat. MAke sure your nails have dried completely before any ';rough'; activity. How to prevent nail polish from chipping?
Here's a combination that works well for me: OPI chip skip (it's thin like polish remover, not a base coat, but it goes on before the color) I swear by it. Then, OPI color (2 thin coats). DRY WELL! Top Coat (I like Super Shiney by Creative Nails). Reapply top coat every couple of days, and wear gloves when cleaning and doing dishes. I've found that the pricier brands are worth the money and do last longer on the nail and in the bottle than regular drug store brands. I also don't like the brand Essie, even though it's a salon brand, I'd stick with OPI.
Even if you use good nail laquers and base/topcoats (my personal favorite brand is Seche Vite at beauty supply stores) your polish will come off if you have to keep your hand in water or household chemicals from cleaning chores. I recommend wearing dishwashing gloves, and it will keep your skin from getting too dry also.
I use OPI topcoat and it works for me .....You might want to apply a thin top coat like every few days just for extra protection ...You could always use gloves when doing dishes ...OPI also makes a product for chipping that you might want to try as well ..

Good Luck ~~~
It's all about the brand, the layers, and the clear coat.
The more expensive brands of color are worth the money. The more, thicker layers flake easier, and the clear coat only goes on once, else it'll bubble and ruin the finish.
Hope this helped.
Well i got my toes done at the nail salon and i thought it was VERY cute. So i decided to try and keep it on longer. I put on o top coat every other day. And at one point i didnt care anymore, so i chipped it off myself. lol
I buff my nails before I apply nail polish and even after dishes and all the other cinderella stuff, it stays on! Also, you should spend a little extra and get OPI nailpolishes, they are great!
put on the top coat...
and then a couple coats of clear nail polish.
it seals the deal.
honestly, I haven't found a way but when i put the gloss over the color I've found that it lasts longer
