Nail polish?

I am wearing a yellow bridesmaid dress in a wedding what color of nail polish would you use.Nail polish?
Clear or French tips.

If you MUST have a colour then a pale pink, but please something natural looking with yellow, or you will look like either a tart or a little girl with her first make up kit.Nail polish?
Something pale, nude.
FRENCH TIP OR SHEER PINK.
A French Manicure
A very pale pink, nothing too flashy becuase it will make you look like a little kid. Keep it simple and classic and you should be doing ok.
a nice french tip would be better.or clear i would think.
Go with the french it looks good on everything
clear
clear or off white or french tips
I agree with the First person :)
Natural, let the bride shine.
if you're going in to get a manicure done, i'd go for a french manicure. or you could ask the manicurist their opinion; most of them are usually pretty good at matching with your skin tone/outfit color. if you're going to do your nails yourself, i'd go with a pale pink.
go natural with french tips - it's classy and works with any outfit.
Aside from going with the classic french manicure ( which is a great idea). Consider the colors of your bouquet or the theme colors the bride chose for the wedding. I have a feeling everyone have a french manicure, but this is something you could do just to be different but not tacky. If the bride chose vibrant or bold colors aside from yellow, tone it down a couple of shades for your nail polish. Go for a pastel, translucent shade of nail polish so as not to make it look tacky or loud. Your nail tech may have plenty of nail polishes from OPI, so I included a link. Take a look at the ';Sheer Shades'; and the ';Soft Shades'; ! These colors would be tasteful and perfect for a wedding!
I would go with a very light pinkish, nude color, or even a french manicure.

Nail polish!!?

i havent taken off my nail pollish for a very long time like a few months is that bad?Nail polish!!?
Yes, that's extremely bad. When you removed the nail polish you will notice that your nails are yellowed. You could buff away the yellowish stain but try not to buff too hard cos you stain would be quite difficult to remove since it has been so long. Just do this once a day until the yellowish has gone and let your nail breath a while before putting on nail polish. I normally have my nails done and have them removed after a week and give my nails free from vanish for at least a week. If you get a good buffing your nails would gave a good shine and it looks good too. Hope this helps.Nail polish!!?
not bad but if you leave on to long the polish can stain expecially if it is a red shade
YES!

not only will it stain ur nails (especially if u are not wearing a basecoat), it is also a BIG fashion NO NO
yes your nails could be stained.
noo..... not really i leave mine on all the time
Nail polish can ruin some of your nail bed. You really should never keep it on that long. I'd advise you to go take it off, wash your hands with antibacterial soap, and put some lotion around your nails. It's not going to kill you or anything, but it's definitely not good for your nails.
I dont think it's bad but I have noticed that it can discolor your nails somewhat. If your gonna leave your nail polish on for an extended time always use a base coat to protect your nails from the actual enamel.
well you aren't getting any oxygen to your nails.

so take it off and if it's yellow underneath,

wait a month or so to paint them again.

Nail polish?

Hi i heared that nail polish can do damage to your nails.

recently ive been wearing black nail polish, with a clear coat of polish over it to make it shine,

will this affect my real nails in any way? if so, what should i do so nothing bad happens to them?Nail polish?
dont leave it on for too long!

some people leave their nail polish on until it chips completely off or they put coat after coat on. thats not good.

you know its been on too long if the nail underneath starts turning yellow-ish.Nail polish?
if you always have nail polish on it cud turn ur nails yellow especially if its on ur toes
yes ,it will, try using healing nail polish but it's clear buy it will heal them you can get some at sally's beauty salon
i dont think it damages nails it must be a myth.
just use good n branded polishes and nothing will go wrong

as long as uve hit them somewhere
yes, my grandma has always had nailpolish on her fingers and nwo they are all yellow and gross, ugh

Nail polish?

Whats the best brand which doesnt chip, lasts long, and comes in a variety of colors? And where do i buy it and how much does it cost? The only actually good one I've found is O.P.I.Nail polish?
OPI is my favorite as well, also another great one in my opinionis Creative Nail Designs, also known as CND. No matter what type of polish you use, you can get a basecoat called Stickey, or something like it that helps polish pretty much ';stick'; to your nails.(It comes off with polish remover) Or also you could get a Top Coat, OPI has the Chip Skip that works well, the perfect thing is to use all 3..basecoat, polish and topcoat:)Nail polish?
O.P.I is definitely the best i have used, and it seems like that is the nail polish most professionals tend to use.
O.P.I is definitely the best. If you don't mind paying extra, Bobbi Brown nail polish is good, it doesn't come in a wide variety, but the colors are really pretty. Chanel nail polish is good too.
O.P.I is the best. i have 2 say. mi mum buys it and uses it and sumtimes i use it. its great but i dont know where u can buy it
i have found that Sally Hanson is a very good company that is lik 3 dollars each and they have a lot of colors. You could find it in probably rite aid or any drugstore or any beauty supply store
Nail polishes found in beauty supply stores - Orly, O.P.I. Zoya, etc. are all good.

However, if a drugstore is all you have access to, Sally Hansen Teflon Tuff 10-day is good and lasts for 10 days as it claims.

Nail polish?

I have this really weird looking blue nail polish. I call it cotton candy because it looks like the color of a cotton candy dum dums lollypop. But anyway, is there a way i can turn it red? if so, how?Nail polish?
There's no way to turn blue redNail polish?
You can't turn it red. Just buy another nailpolish, it won't cost much.
mix it with purple!
y would u want to turn it red
Well if you take the color off and replace it with a pretty red your problem is solved or if you just add purple that will do the trick! Good Luck!
Trust me just go out and buy the shade of red that you like...you can use that blue on another occasion.
Only if you buy a red nailpolish, empty out the bottle of blue, and pour the red in.
There is no way to turn it red, and the color sounds soo cute!
  • straight hair

I like to stick with neutral polishes or pale shimmery pinks.Nail polish!?
haha. sounds cute. nice to see someone who's not afraid to be themselves. Right now I love a dark plum.
um..thats a bit weird! well just get clear okay
    French tip
i like to get what is called a louboutin manicure (like the shoe) i get french tips on top and the bottom is painted red like christian louboutin shoes!!! i love it!!! of course, neon pink is great as well!!!
I'm a straight guy and I get a pedicure every two weeks with color polish - usually pinks or reds. A girl fried dared me to do it a few years ago and now I find it kind of depressing when my toe nails aren't painted. I don't generally wear polish on my fingernails, although I do occasionally get a manicure.

Sure, I'm a little odd, but I can live with that :)
I like red with white or light pink polka dots. I dont get acrilycs because my nails are nice naturally but if I did I would get the kind with sparkles.

    but I am a girl...

How long will my nail polish take to dry at the most?

Also, is there any way to speed it up, I've tried all the usual methods, cooking spray, cold water, quick drying nail polish, blowing on them. None of those things do anything, so if U have any new suggestions, then thanx. How long will my nail polish take to dry at the most?
Why not go to that little shop in the mall in the town centre (the one with the MacDonalds)

The little shop is on the top floor just to the left of the entrance to the Green Car Park Zone 15.

    They provide a fantastic service.

You can leave your fingers with them while you go off and do your shopping (You have to carry your credit card in your mouth for obvious reasons)

Sure, we all know about the big mistake they made when they got a 15 year old girls fingers mixed up with a builder's that were in for cleaning but it's all been sorted out now - don't worry. How long will my nail polish take to dry at the most?
put oil or cream on them
There are avon things that are quick dry. Search avon catalogs. I heart avon stuff.
    at MOST 15 minutes
I actually don't have any suggestions. all i can say is just wait for it to dry pationtly like any one else would do.
about 5 to 10 minutes. but it will help if you put your nails under direct light say from your lamp. it sure does help a lot! try it... :)

    Good Luck!
Put thin coats on so they will not take very long to dry, leave it for about two mins. Then do another coat and so on...
use this top coat called Insta dri by Sally Hansen. Its a Godsend. It literally dries your color in minutes, and you dont have to worry about smudging or getting dents.
